Points for Awards.

The awards of the same name have the same score. For example, a Double Gold has the same score in any I.W.C.: (6.50 points). Gold Medal (5.00 points), Silver (2.50 points), Bronze (1.60 points) and Honor, Recommended or seal of approval (1.20 points).

The score of a Spirit.

Is the multiplication of the score of the competition with the score of the award. A gold medal in a competition of 8.00 points is worth 40.00 points (Top Competition), and in competitions (contests only one varietal) 6.00 points: total 30 points.

The award "Spirit of the Year".

It is the leading global distinction awarded by the WAWWJ. It is the most important award in the world of wine. This award is obtained in the year with minimum 100 points (the sum of the points obtained in thevarious competitions for wine only), earned in the year that begins in February and ends in January next year.

Spirits that participated in 2014, obtained the Spirit of the Year 2016. Annually, less than 50 award winning spirit in the world, at more than 30,000 participating in international competitions around the world.
