WAWWJ 2008/2009

VERY IMPORTANT

Starting from January 2009, the World Association Wine and Spirit Writers and Journalists (WAWWJ) will continue with their activity to promote and trade wines and spirits worldwide from the results obtained by international wine and spirit competitions. International competitions are very important for world trade, especially now, in times of world crisis.

From the 30th of January 2009 you will be able to see:

• The official program of International Wine and Spirit Competitions 2009
• The world classification of wines and spirits 2008/2009 (WRWS) - World Ranking Wines and Spirits
• The world classification of societies and producers 2008/2009, from different countries
• The world classification of grape varieties
• The awards "Wine of the Year 2008/2009" (Only the 0.15% of wines or spirits in the world receives this distinction)

The WRWS 2008/2009 will be based on 150 international competitions and will be fully uploaded with complete data from the 1st of April 2009.
